In this interview, we’re excited to introduce you to Dr. Hussain Ahmed, one of our dedicated doctors making a difference in the field of General Adult Psychiatry. Currently serving as a Specialty Doctor at NHS Glasgow, Dr. Ahmed shares his experience from working with Dedicare.

Why did you choose to work with Dedicare, and how have we assisted you before and during your employment?

I have never really worked with other Locum companies as I enjoy working with Dedicare. The team is friendly, supportive and easily accessible.

What prompted you to seek new opportunities within your profession, and what made you decide to work with a recruitment agency?

Working through Locum company: one has the opportunity to work in different trusts, specialties and different places, and this is something I believe is an important factor for personal and professional development

Are you enjoying your job at NHS Glasgow?

I enjoy working in NHS GGC as I feel there are opportunities to develop clinical skills.

Can you describe a typical workday?

I have a mix of days in relation to duty ie a typical day could be doing an MDT in morning and then outpatient clinic in the afternoon session.

How did you find our compliance process?
