We are currently seeking doctors available to cover the following locum role:
Location: Northampton General Hospital
Dates: 18 February 2025 – 17 August 2025
Position: Consultant Ophthalmology
Break Policy and Timesheets
Locum doctors are required to comply with Trust Break policy and must take a 30 minute break for every 6 hours worked (1 hour break for every 12 hours worked). Signed timesheets are not exempt from the break policy and breaks will be deducted as applicable.
The doctor must ensure that a substantive consultant signs their timesheets, timesheets not signed by the correct signatory will be rejected. It is the responsibility of the agency and doctor to ensure that timesheets are signed off correctly, and in a timely manner.
Out of hours
Out of hours is defined as before 08:00 and after 16:00 Monday-Friday, all day Saturday, Sunday and Bank Holidays. Doctors who arrive out of hours, must report to Site Management in area C of the hospital.
