Locum Specialty Doctor Psychiatry – Inpatients Required in Liverpool for 25 Weeks

We are currently seeking doctors available to cover the following locum role:

Location: Whiston Hospital
Dates: 30 December 2024 – 27 June 2025
Position: Specialty Doctor Psychiatry – Inpatients

Notes: Specialty doctor for Knowsley inpatient wards. General adult
Knowsley Resource and Recovery Centre
Whiston Hospital site, Warrington Road
Prescot, L35 5DR

Full time SAS role to cover across x2 adult wards.
Male ward – Coniston has 18 beds
Female ward – Grasmere 15 beds.
Both wards have permanent consultants and each ward has x2 junior doctors.
Full time medical secretary.
Office space available.

Sec 12 approval is necessary.

Monday to Friday 9-5.
Work split equally across both wards.
Main duties supporting consultants with MHA related work and covering absences.
Will be supported to attend Tuesday AM teaching for CPD.
