Additional information

– Current GMC full registration & licence to practise
– MRCP & entry on GMC Specialist Register for Cardiology or within 6 months of CCT date or expected – Portfolio Pathway (previously CESR) approval, at the time of interview.
– Ability to demonstrate independent clinical experience, knowledge and skill in Cardiology at Consultant level
– 10 PAs
– The Department is currently working towards a Cardiology on-call service which will provide 24/7 cover.
– Participation in Cardiology weekend service provision (1:7)

Desirable

– Interest in General Cardiology, imaging and heart failure
– Experience of supervising SpRs/specialist trainees.
– Special interest in Echocardiography, stress echocardiography and other imaging modalities
