Meet our consultant Cat, a Staff Nurse who has been working with us in the Falklands.
We had the pleasure of speaking with Cat about her exciting journey working in the Falkland Islands after discovering an opportunity through Dedicare. Here’s what she had to say about her unique experience.

What inspired you to work in the Falkland Islands?

I came out to the Falkland Islands on a three-month locum contract. The scenery, wildlife, and remoteness of the Falklands are unique, and the local history is fascinating.

Can you describe your experience working at the hospital in the Falklands?

Working as a nurse in a remote environment brings a unique set of challenges and a varied workload. The hospital staff were welcoming, and it was rewarding to be part of a close-knit team in such a unique setting. Dedicare provided the opportunity, arranging my travel and accommodation.
